At Northwest Mountain Experience, we offer guided backcountry ski touring and split-boarding trips across Western Canada – along with educational courses focused on backcountry skills and avalanche awareness. Our top priorities are safety, ensuring a great time in the mountains, and finding the best ski conditions.

Founded in 2012 and based in Slocan, British Columbia, we specialize in custom ski tours in stunning locations such as the Selkirks, Monashees, Purcells, Canadian Rockies, West Coast Ranges, and international venues.

We are proud professional members of the Canadian Avalanche Association, offering nationally recognized Avalanche Safety Training Levels 1 and 2 (AST1 & AST2). All our guides are certified by either the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) or the Canadian Ski Guides Association (CSGA).
